A new series of concerts set against the picturesque backdrop of the St Lawrence Ground, the home of Kent cricket. The weekend will bring together talent from across the UK, with many well-known artists taking the stage from JLS and Madness to the iconic Becky Hill. The event will attract over 40,000 visitors for an August weekender to remember.

Bringing the electrifying sound of Elvis to life, Elvis Presley showband, Taking Care of Vegas, will showcase their signature big-band energy through Elvis’ s varied catalogue. The music will take place from 6.30pm- 8.30pm, alongside a lineup of delicious food and drink vendors from wood-fired pizzas and mac and cheese to Wildbox’ s pop-up cocktail bar and The Macknade Bar, serving wine, beer, cider and soft drinks all night long.

THE ADVENTURES OF PETER RABBIT Hermitage Millennium Amphitheatre, Maidstone
In honour of 160 years since the birth of Beatrix Potter, Hazlitt Theatre, Parkwood Theatres and Maidstone Borough Council will return on their open-air summer tour to bring The Adventures of Peter Rabbit to life. The Olivier Award-winning composer-lyricist Darren Clark and production director Jenny Clark will reimagine this classic tale with exciting twists performed by a fantastic cast.

SAXON SHORE HALF MARATHON & 10K Whitstable Castle, Whitstable
Moving into its eighth year, the great coastal marathon will return on the Saxon shores of Whitstable. Starting at the historic Whitstable Castle, you will follow one of the circular routes from the half marathon or 10k run. Running along the coastline, you will make your way through Plough Lane Park and Swalecliff Beach, finishing off the evening with the famous live music and after-party at Whitstable Castle.
