TOURING CAR REWIND: SOUTH Brands Hatch, West Kingsdown 1- 2 Aug
Arriving at Brands Hatch for a height-ofsummer celebration during the centenary celebrations. The programme has been put together by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club( CTCRC), with an off-circuit show. The lineup will include iconic 90’ s Super Touring machinery alongside the Minis, Lotus Cortinas and the fire-breathing Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500s.

BIG CAT FEST Big Cat Sanctuary, Smarden 1- 2, 5- 9 Aug
The world’ s first festival dedicated entirely to wild cats. Following on from the success of the first year, across 10 days the event will feature world-class conservation education, unforgettable wildlife experiences and a range of live entertainment suitable for all the family. You will also have the chance to meet over 35 wild cat species and subspecies.

MARGATE CARNIVAL PARADE 2026 Palm Bay, Margate
A day filled with colour, celebration and a wide range of music, the parade will start at Palm Bay and make its way through Fort Crescent and along the seafront to Canterbury Road and Westbrook Bay, where the parade will end. You can join the festival or simply enjoy watching the vibrant celebration. Suitable for all ages.

KINUSAIGA( JAPANESE FABRIC ART) WORKSHOP St. George’ s Church, Folkestone
An evening of pure creative calm, Kinusaiga is the Japanese art of collage. There is no sewing involved, just gentle tucking. The process is a traditional Japanese craft where fabric pieces are tucked into a foam base, which then creates a 3D textured picture. The class is suitable for beginners and offers the chance to get creative in a no-pressure environment. An additional workshop will run on Saturday 22 August.

SMOKED & UNCUT GARDEN PARTY THE PIG- at Bridge Place, nr Canterbury
The music and food festival is back, with an extra special 15-year celebration of THE PIG. The Saturday Big One is going to have a day of dancing, with live music from local artists and bands alongside fresh BBQ food and a large bar area. There will also be chill-out areas in the Garden Oven, which is tucked beside the Kitchen Garden.
