HEADING TO AN ANNUAL FAVOURITE...
BIDDENDEN TRACTORFEST 2026
Biddenden Tractorfest returns for its 12th year at Holden Farm, running from 15- 16 August. This volunteer-driven event celebrates rural heritage and agricultural history in Kent and beyond, with support this year from the Kent County Agricultural Society.
The event will see an abundance of vintage and working tractors, with 300 expected to exhibit over the weekend alongside classic cars, vehicle demonstrations, children’ s entertainment, animals and a number of food vendors. The annual dog show will also be back, as will craft exhibits including chainsaw carving and wood turning. Tickets for adults are £ 14.50, children( 5-15) £ 8, and under 5s go free.

My fiancé and I love treating ourselves in Kent, especially when our dogs can come too. We enjoy fantastic food, a warm welcome and beautiful surroundings- The Playa in Sheerness is incredible for sea views and the food is amazing. Dog-friendly dining makes the experience even better, letting us relax together, enjoy great local produce and create special memories.

TOP DAY OUT THE ROYAL HARBOUR
One of my favourite ways to spend a day in Kent is shopping with my fiancé. I love browsing the independent stores at Royal Harbour in Ramsgate, exploring the boutiques along Harbour Street in Whitstable and discovering unique gifts in Canterbury’ s historic centre. It’ s the perfect way to treat ourselves while enjoying everything Kent has to offer.
