HISTORIC DOCKYARD CHATHAM PARTNERS WITH STEVE BACKSHALL
REDROW UNVEILS LATEST HOMES ACROSS TWO KENT SITES
A new collection of homes has been released at Redrow South East’ s Kent developments, The Landings in Ramsgate and The Hoplands in Hersden, creating fresh opportunities for buyers across the county.
The latest release includes a range of premium three-, four- and fivebedroom properties designed in Redrow’ s signature arts and crafts style. The homes are aimed at a variety of buyers including growing families, first-time buyers and those looking to downsize.
Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust have partnered with awardwinning naturalist Steve Backshall MBE to launch a new family experience that will bring the wonders of the ocean to life at The Historic Dockyard Chatham this summer.
Steve Backshall’ s‘ Awesome Oceans Family Trail’ will take families on an action-packed journey across the world’ s oceans combining adventure, exploration and conservation.
Designed to inspire the next generation of‘ Ocean Guardians’, the self-led trail will feature hands-on activities, storytelling and challenges alongside the internationally acclaimed Ocean Photographer of the Year exhibition.
Children will travel through six different ocean zones encountering maritime creatures, uncovering the biggest threats facing our oceans and collecting exclusive cards inspired by the trail’ s marine stars.
“ The Awesome Oceans Family Trail covers a lot of things that are very dear to my heart,” said Steve Backshall.“ The grandeur and nostalgia of maritime history, the vast potential of ocean exploration and the magical maritime marvels that inhabit our seas. Finding a way of getting kids excited and invested in all of this has been a challenge we’ ve all relished and I can’ t wait to see the results!”
“ We know affordability continues to be a key consideration, particularly for local families and key workers, so we’ re pleased to be able to offer support schemes like Stamp Duty Paid, Part-Exchange and Deposit Boost to help make moving into a new home more achievable,” said sales director, Stuart Galloway.“ These homes are ideally suited to a range of buyers, including people working locally and commuters looking for well-connected communities with access to green space, good schools and amenities nearby.”
The homes form part of Redrow’ s award-winning Heritage Collection, which combines traditional exterior architecture with modern, energyefficient interiors.
