I have grown up in a small, quaint village right on the border of West Kent; with my childhood spent exploring the nearby woodlands, I have a strong appreciation for Kent’ s natural landscape and the county’ s rich variety of wildlife. I often have the opportunity to see our native European hedgehog rustling through the hedgerow or hear a tawny owl at dusk from my bedroom window.
I try to incorporate nature in my everyday life. As an avid creative, I love to draw and paint, bringing the natural world into my art and life as much as possible. Kent’ s countryside often serves as the main source of my inspiration; I find myself continually being inspired by the local wildlife and the surrounding landscape of the Weald.

BEST OF KENT

TOP COFFEE HARTLEY FARM SHOP
A local favourite for me, I have spent my time soaking up the sun on the decking or frantically writing my dissertation at Hartley Coffee Shop. I love the calm environment, with the added benefit of having four adorable pygmy goats.
TOP DAY OUT SISSINGHURST CASTLE
I have visited Sissinghurst since I was very young and still do every Sunday for a morning coffee at The Granary and a walk around the grounds. Studying literature brought me closer to the history of the castle and gardens, learning about Vita Sackville-West and taking in the spectacular views across the Weald.
TOP EATS THE OLD DAIRY
An evening spent at The Old Diary has always been a favourite of mine. I often love walking through the Rother Valley, and stopping off at The Old Dairy or meeting friends for a drink makes this a truly special place.
