quarterbacks so I will use it to make my argument. Passer Rating is calculated using player’s attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns and interceptions. Now the formula is too complicated for an average joe like me to work out so I’ll just give you the numbers that the smart ones gave me. In 2014, Aaron Rodgers has a passer rating of 120.1 which ranks 1st among all starting NFL quarterbacks. In comparison, the quarterback rated second is the Cowboy’s Tony Romo who has a passer rating of 107.2. That is a massive 13 points better than any other starting quarterback in the league. In comparison to other star quarterbacks, Peyton Manning has a 107.1 rating, Roethlisberger a 105.3 rating, Brady a 102.0 rating, Andrew Luck a 99.4 rating and Drew Brees a 95.9 rating. To shift matters even more in Rodgers favour, he is the NFL career leader in passer rating at 105.8. He is also second all-time in the postseason with a rating of 103.1.

Still not convinced? I’ll finish up by providing these last few points. Aaron Rodgers is currently the only quarterback to have a career passer rating of over 100 in the regular season. He also holds the record for the best touchdown to interception ratio which currently stands at 3.89.

Obviously there will still be some people who don’t believe Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL and you know what. That’s ok. You guys who are non-believers are obviously Viking or Bears fans that are bitter about Rodgers besting you so many times over the years. But the good news for those fans out there. Rodgers is 30 years old and only has another 8 or 9 season left in him. But one thing I’m sure we can all agree on (even those Vikings and Bears fans) is that when Rodgers does retire, he will be known as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
