INSIDE FANTASY

LOVE 'EM

Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons - QB

We all saw what happened to the Panthers defense last week; it wasn’t pretty. However, the Panthers are known as a defensive side. I think they will be a bit more competitive this week against the Falcons for a chance at the number 1 spot in the NFC South. The Panthers defense are ranked 18th in passing yards allowed, but are also ranked 5th in passing touchdowns allowed. I would be expecting at least 3 TDs from Ryan and my prediction would be around 25 fantasy points.

Kelvin Benjamin - Carolina Panthers - WR

He has been very up and down this year like most rookies, but I like this match up against the Falcons secondary. Being the number 1 WR for the panthers I think he will see a lot of the ball this week. Cam Newton was pressured a lot in the pocket, and sacked a whopping 9 times against a pass-rushing Eagles defense last week, which is something the Falcons have lacked all year. Newton will have plenty of time to find his receivers this week and Benjamin will have one of his best games for the year. My projection for him is 18 fantasy points.

Ryan Mathews - San Diego Chargers - RB

Mathews who sprained his MCL in week 2 has his first game back this week against the raiders; who gave up 90 rush yards to the Denver 3rd string running back in C.J Anderson, which also saw him notch up 6.9 yards per carry last week. Mathews should slot back into his number 1 RB position given he is fit this week and should see the majority of the carries. My projection is 16 fantasy points.
