It hardly seems like last week when we
were preparing for the start of a new
stock car season, yet here we are
approaching the end of the 2012 racing
calendar and my first full season with the
Brisca F1s.
Filming 24 episodes for Premier Sports
has taken us from Buxton to Ipswich,
rigging up cameras hours before races
and driving home covered in shale at
four o'clock in the morning. But I hope
most of you will agree that the end
product has proved that all the hard work
and effort from our small team has been
worth it.
I believe our programme has gone from
strength to strength with different
camera angles and feature ideas and the
World Final from Skegness has to be the
highlight of the year so far. We dedicated
the full hour to the final race and despite
a few disgruntled fans, I believe it fully
deserved it. We packed it with interviews

and had ten cameras around the track
and in cars, which proved to be a real
winner as they captured the drama of the
biggest and most anticipated twenty five
laps of the year.
We continue to listen to the feedback
from fans, drivers and promoters and we
strive to deliver what we believe makes
good viewing for those that enjoy
watching stock car racing, but also
catering for those that may not have
seen it too. I was one of those only two
years ago because I had never seen a
Brisca F1 car, despite my association
with speedway. I often get asked how
long I have been following the sport and
the truth is not as long as most of you!
I am a novice compared to most but
there have been plenty of people helping
me along the way, whether it has been to
explain a mechanical issue or a driver's
past achievements. I have learned about
rivalries old and new, the characters in
the pits and the cost and dedication each
