MONARCH
EXPERIENCE
Monarch Experience is a program designed to help first year students
find their niche and sense of belonging on campus. The program requires
students to pick one activity to be involved in on campus and record their
involvement on their co-curricular transcript (MonarchLink). Monarch
Experience ultimately helps students explore and refine their leadership
abilities, while preparing them to become active citizens in the Old
Dominion University community.
Monarch Experience is about students getting connected, gaining
experiences, developing skills, and having fun! It is the perfect way for new
monarchs to start their journey.
The deadline for students to pick a Monarch Experience is October 1.
