Longest Day Cook-Off Challenge Vice President for Student Engagement & Enrollment Services, Ellen Neufeldt, and Women's Basketball Coach, Nikki McCray, competed against each other in the ODU "Longest Day Cook-Off Challenge," to raise awareness about Alzheimer's. The cook-off was hosted on April 5, in the Broderick Dining Commons. The event was hosted in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association - Southeastern Virginia Chapter in the fight against Alzheimer's. NASPA IEKC Best Practices Award Recipient Global Monarch Club: Connect Globally Engage Locally Congratulations to the Office of Intercultural Relations’ Global Monarch Club (GMC) for being selected as the recipient of the 2018 Best Practices in International Education Award for “International Programming” from the NASPA Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. The award was presented at NASPA’s annual International Symposium during the NASPA Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA, on March 4th this year. Since its creation, GMC has connected hundreds of mentors and mentees from different countries and cultures with the common purpose to: Connect Globally, Engage Locally!
