CAMERON EVON | ADMISSIONS Q: If you could live anywhere in the universe, where would you live? A: Well, the universe is relatively big… I think I’d be good with any place that has four seasons, mountains, and decent Mexican food. Q: If you won a million dollars, what would you do with the money? A: I’d go on a backpacking trip through the Himalayas, pay my bills, and then donate a lot of the money to animal shelters. Q: If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life, what would it be? A: Why can’t I grow a cool beard? Q: An interesting fact about you? A: I can’t grow a cool beard. Q: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? A: I’d learn how to predict the stock market. Q: If you could have any super power, what would it be? A: There are so many powers to choose from. As much as I loved the Spider Man comics as a kid, I think I’d have to go with super intelligence. PHILIP WALZER | STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION & MARKETING Q: If you could live anywhere in the universe, where would you live? A: I’d keep our home in Norfolk, get beachfront houses on the Outer Banks and the Gulf Coast of Florida, and apartments in New York (overlooking Central Park, of course) and Jerusalem. We had a lot of fun hiking in Zion National Park last year, so let’s add a place in Springdale, Utah. Q: If you won a million dollars, what would you do with the money? A: See answer to question 1. Alternatively, I’d buy season tickets behind home plate at Yankee Stadium. Q: If you could know the answer to any question besides “What is the meaning of life?” what would it be? A: What happens after we die? Much less important but still perplexing to me: Why do so many people like pumpkin spice? (I try to avoid it except in Janet Molinaro’s muffins.) Q: An interesting fact about you? A: Bruce Springsteen is partly responsible for my marriage to Mary Ann. (We just hit the 30-year mark.) The couple that matched us up on a blind date knew that we both loved Springsteen. Still do. Aside from being a great musician and concert performer, he’s an incredible lyricist. I’ve heard “Downbound Train” a million times, but it still makes me want to cry. Q: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? A: Play the guitar. I picture myself singing James Taylor and Jim Croce songs in my living room. Wait. Did I just reveal my age there? Q: If you could have any super power, what would it be? A: Why stop at one? I’d want to regrow some of the hair on top of my head and be able to write a perfect story in an hour. I’d also want the ability to win a race, any race. I’d settle for winning my age group.
