Are you traveling this holiday season ? Whether you will ride in a plane , train or automobile , I have healthy snack ideas to keep you fueled for your journey . Plan on incorporating a food that has protein and at least one other food group of a fruit , vegetable , or grain . Try hummus and carrots , peanut butter on a mini bagel , yogurt and granola , or nuts and dried fruit . My favorite are no-bake energy bite recipes ! They are the perfect blend of carbohydrates , protein , and fat for energy all day long . Try no-bake energy bites rolled in peppermint for a festive twist . They ’ re not just tasty ; the peppermint smell helps ease stress . Whether you ’ re munching on the go or sharing it as a healthy gift , these chocolate peppermint energy bites are sure to keep you energized and brighten your day .
