When flight attendants deliver their safety demonstration before takeoff , they tell you to put your own oxygen mask on before helping others . In a way , that was the name of the game for Rea in 2021 .

That ’ s not to say that we were bracing for impact or expecting a catastrophe – quite the opposite , in fact .
We have a lot of exciting things coming up on the horizon which will lead to new ways to help our clients and some of the biggest growth the firm has ever seen . And as we grow , we have to ensure that our internal operations are keeping up with – or even leading – that growth .
So in 2021 , we looked inward . We focused on what changes we should make from the inside out to better serve our clients and communities and give our employees challenging and fulfilling experiences .
Many of these changes were guided by our strategic plan , The Rea Advantage , which was updated in 2021 . ( Given that this was the third iteration of the strategic plan , we call it The Rea Advantage 3.0 , or 3.0 for short .)
In 3.0 , we challenge ourselves and ask : “ How can we do this better ? How can our processes be more efficient ? What more do our clients and team members need from us ?” We don ’ t change because we have to – we innovate because we ’ re always striving to be better for our people and clients .
BUILDING OUR ARMY
Our Rea Corporate Partners ( RCP ) team includes our Finance , People ( HR ), IT , and Practice Growth ( marketing ) functions . Our firm cannot grow unless the proper infrastructure and team are in place . We need a substantial RCP team to support our production staff , clients , firm initiatives , and innovation .
