MARK FEARON MEMORY GIFT
In 2020 , Rea said goodbye to principal Mark Fearon , after a battle with cancer . To honor his memory , The Rea Foundation has established the Mark Fearon Memorial Scholarship with Garaway Local School District in Sugarcreek , Ohio . Garaway was Mark ’ s alma mater and he was passionate about serving the district and its students . The annual endowed scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student who is interested in a business career .
INDIVIDUALS MAKING A BIG IMPACT
Rick Lash and his wife Monica were awarded the 2021 Champions of Hope award from the Crohn ’ s & Colitis Foundation , Northern Ohio chapter . Rick and Monica have raised more than $ 700,000 for the organization since 2014 .
PMA DONATIONS
PMA Practice Transitions , the dental practice brokerage division of Rea & Associates , gives a portion of all dental practice sales back to local nonprofit organizations . This effort is part of the practice ’ s larger mission to make an impact on the communities it serves . In 2021 , more than $ 2,300 was donated to organizations hand-chosen by dental professionals who had sold practices with PMA . To date , PMA has given more than $ 12,800 back to local communities .
