PET CALENDAR FUNDRAISER
Any good pet parent would jump at the chance to show off their furry friends . So The Rea Foundation ’ s Fundraising committee turned that pet-parent-pride into a calendar contest . For a $ 10 entry fee per picture , employees across the firm submitted 116 adorable pictures of their furry , feathery , or scaly friends . More than 300 people voted on their favorite pets , and the top 12 pictures were included in a 2022 calendar , which were sold for $ 25 each . Half of all contest proceeds ( almost $ 3,600 overall ) were donated to Save a Mom Pregnant Dog Rescue , chosen by our grand prize winner ( Katherine Weant and her cow Willa ), and the other 50 percent of proceeds went to the Rea Foundation – a total of nearly $ 1,800 .
