Gib Flow App Set to Transform Mobility in Gibraltar
A new locally developed navigation app, Gib Flow, is set to launch in June 2026, aiming to improve how residents and visitors move around Gibraltar while promoting more sustainable transport choices.
Designed as an all-in-one mobility platform, the app will provide users with an interactive map featuring smart filters to locate nearby services, businesses, and key facilities such as recycling points, cycle parking, public toilets, and landmarks. Integrated transport features will include bus stop locations, access to live bus tracking, and options for purchasing Hopper tickets, alongside information on car parks and payment links.
The platform also offers opportunities for local businesses, enabling direct listings with links to websites, menus, or booking systems, helping users connect easily with nearby services. According to the presentation, Gib Flow is designed to simplify navigation while supporting local commerce and encouraging greener travel choices.

A soft launch is planned during the Eco Festival, followed by a full public release shortly after. The app will be promoted across multiple touchpoints, including tourist information platforms, entry points into Gibraltar, and local publications.
Future development phases are already in planning, with features such as preferred walking and cycling routes and secure bicycle parking expected to be introduced later this year.
Gib Flow is positioned as a significant step towards improving accessibility, easing traffic flow, and supporting Gibraltar’ s transition towards smarter, more sustainable urban mobility.
