“ Little Things, Big Difference” InitiativeContinues to Transform Gibraltar
The Government of Gibraltar’ s“ Little Things, Big Difference” initiative continues to make a visible impact across the community, combining urban improvement projects with valuable skills training opportunities for young people.
Led by the Minister for Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism, with responsibility for Training, Apprenticeships and Skills, Christian Santos, the initiative has grown into a successful programme focused on both beautifying public spaces and providing hands-on experience for trainees from the Gibraltar Training Centre and CTCL.
The initiative also includes an ongoing weekly graffiti removal programme led by Technical Services, helping maintain cleaner and more welcoming public spaces for residents and visitors alike.
While many of the projects may seem small individually, together they are making a meaningful difference to the appearance and upkeep of Gibraltar, while also helping trainees gain practical experience in painting, construction, and maintenance works in real-world environments. Minister Santos highlighted the positive impact of the initiative, noting the pride trainees take in contributing directly to Gibraltar’ s community while developing valuable skills that will support their future careers. Looking ahead, the Government remains committed to expanding the“ Little Things, Big Difference” initiative, continuing to improve public spaces while investing in the next generation of skilled workers across Gibraltar.
