GRAND HOTEL HORSE CARRIAGE MUSEUM Located next to Surrey Hill , this working facility is home to Grand Hotel ’ s 12 horses and is open to the public . It ’ s a great way to see the horses up close , along with 20 antique carriages from both Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island Carriage Tours . Free admission .
IMAGES OF FAITH MUSEUM Located at Ste . Anne Church . The displays highlight the religious history of Mackinac . Records date back to 1695 and show the settlement of the Island through its immigrant population . Free of charge & open to the public . 906-847-3507
MACKINAC ARTS COUNCIL GALLERY Located adjacent to the Theater at Mission Point Resort , this free gallery features various themes and artists ’ works on display . Open Monday through Saturday 9:00-5:00pm , Sunday noon to 5:00pm .
