Destino Ibiza Es Boldado pleaser if you’re willing to go hard on a Monday and nights such as Cocoon at Amnesia, Carl Cox and We Love at Space, and F*** Me I’m Famous at Pacha continue to be rammed throughout the summer. Don’t forget the smaller and more authentic venues too, though – Underground is a real gem of a place, and newer venues such as Plan Be continue to grow in popularity as the season continue – here, at these more intimate venues, is where you’ll be likely to find the real Ibiza veterans. We love Space producers of Spanish Basque, British Longhorn and Nebraskan Black Angus, as well as a great selection of fish and lobster. Es Boldado also offers up an unrivalled romantic location with views overlooking the mystical rock of Es Vedra and is the perfect setting when you’re looking for an air of romance. Personal favourites also include The Fish Shack, close to Talamanca and totally rural, and Bambuddha Grove, which serves up totally delicious Asian fare in a gorgeous setting. Feed the senses My absolute must The restaurant scene in Ibiza is booming at the moment, and tables at the hottest joints can be like gold dust. Cipriani’s Downtown and Lio have held the title as being Ibiza’s newest and hottest places to get a reservation for a while now, and tables go for big bucks. Newly opened Ushuaia Tower’s steakhouse, Montauk, comes from the brains behind Hawksmoor and Pitt Cue, and has brought something fresh and new to Ibiza’s dining scene with meat carefully selected from the very best If you only do one extravagant thing on your trip, make sure you keep a day free to charter a boat to take you over to Formentera, Ibiza’s most beautiful and less chaotic neighbouring island. Moor up in its crystal-clear waters or go inland and sample one of its many restaurants. One thing’s for certain, you’ll quickly fall in love with its idyllic setting.
