Who ’ s in and who ’ s out of the top jobs in FMCG this quarter .
From Kellogg ’ s to Kinrise Kellogg MD Esme Borgelt ( pictured ) has left the cereal giant after 18 years with the company to take up a new role as CEO at Kinrise .
A Kellogg spokesperson said of her move : “ We thank Esme for her contribution and wish her all the best in the new role . We will share more information on her replacement in due course .”
During her time at Kellogg Company , Borgelt held the Australia-New Zealand MD role for nearly three years after serving as director of sales for three years , and GM of the New Zealand arm for a further three . Prior to Kellogg , she worked in consumer sales with Kimberly-Clark .
Kinrise is a three-year-old family-owned Australian business that distributes “ clean , accessible and delicious Australian-made food we are proud to serve our own families ”.
Its current portfolio includes products in the breakfast , baking , bakery , biscuits and snacks categories , produced locally by Cobs Fine Foods , Greens Foods , Susan Day Cakes and Ozpack .
New CEOs for PepsiCo and CUB PepsiCo has appointed Kyle Faulconer ( pictured ) as its new CEO for Australia and New Zealand , effective January .
A US native , Faulconer is relocating to Sydney to take up the role . Prior to joining the ANZ business , Faulconer was VP and GM at PepsiCo ’ s Frito-Lay snacks business and is responsible for leading what the company describes as the “ strategic agenda ” for Walmart , one of its largest global customers .
Wern-Yuen Tan of PepsiCo says Faulconer will bring to the Australasian team deep customer experience , a strong track record of driving long-term growth in competitive markets and a people-first leadership .

The newcomer has been with the USheadquartered company for 14 years , during which his roles have spanned field operations , strategic account leadership and direct-to-consumer sales strategy .
“ I ’ m thrilled to join the world-class team and help the PepsiCo business continue to grow across Australia and New Zealand ,” he said .
“ I look forward to creating new opportunities to accelerate our positive , purpose-led impact for our partners , customers and consumers .”
Danny Celoni , the outgoing CEO of PepsiCo ’ s Australia , NZ & South Pacific business , is departing to take up the top job at Carlton & United Breweries in February .
He will replace Peter Filipovic , who announced his retirement in July .
Celoni said he had enjoyed “ every minute ” of his tenure at PepsiCo , which he described as “ a fantastic business ”. “ It has been a privilege to lead the talented ANZ team , and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together . I know they will continue to take the business from strength to strength .”
In a statement issued by Asahi , he said it was an honour to be given the opportunity to lead CUB and join Asahi Beverages .
“ With its unrivalled beverage portfolio and commitment to innovation , I ’ m excited by the strategic direction and growth opportunities for the business . “ I ’ m particularly looking forward to working with CUB ’ s customers and partners as we seek to navigate the evolving Covid-normal environment and the other challenges that lie ahead .”
