twelve ewcsd schools receive honors from u.s news and world report
EWCSD hosted the STAR Awards, where each school recognized two students who have overcome significant adversity or hardships, showcasing their resilience and strength. During the ceremony, each school principal took the stage to present the award to their nominees, sharing powerful and inspiring stories of perseverance in the face of challenges. These stories deeply moved those in attendance, highlighting the incredible determination and courage of the students who were recognized, making the event a truly memorable celebration of perseverance.
EWCSD has earned impressive recognition with nine elementary schools and all three middle schools ranked in the top 40 percentile by U.S. News & World Report. This achievement highlights the district's commitment to providing high-quality education at all levels, from elementary through middle school. With a focus on academic excellence, enrichment opportunities, and strong leadership, EWCSD continues to ensure its students receive a well-rounded, rigorous educational experience, preparing them to be 21st century learners.
