We are pleased to share that work has begun with the British Standards Institution (BSI) to develop a Code of Practice for a Publicly Available Standard (PAS) – an intended precursor to a full ISO Standard.
Our vision is to change the effectiveness and impact of global giving by encouraging excellence in charity standards through better governance, reporting and measurement of impact. PAS 48626 (the numerals stand for ‘human’) aims to ensure that end-users or beneficiaries are placed at the center of processes and metrics.
We invite any interested donor, agency or expert to join our Global Review Panel to comment on the upcoming versions of the PAS – which is expected to be completed in Fall 2019, and translated into some of the UN’s official languages for greater reach.
