“Learn about local Native American culture.”
Museum interprets the history and culture of the
Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and
other native cultures. Since 1992, the Museum
has continued to preserve and revive various
aspects of traditional Native culture. Located
at the Village Green Heritage Center in
downtown Palm Springs, the Museum presents
exhibitions, lectures, films and special events
focused on Native American culture & history.

“A Local Treasure As Seen On TV”
Built by Cabot Yerxa on land he homesteaded
in 1913, he worked on the property until his
death in 1965. It's four-stories, 5,000 sq. feet with
35 rooms, 150 windows & 65 doors. The Pueblo
structure is hand made, created from
reclaimed and found objects. On the guided
tour, visitors journey through the life of the Yerxa
family and see artifacts collected from their
adventures dating back over 100 years.
