Peter Johansen recently retired from Carleton University in Ottawa, where he was a journalism professor for nearly four decades. He now enjoys traveling with his wife, Oxana Sawka, and sharing his adventures with readers of such publications as the Ottawa Citizen, Taste & Travel International, Urban Expressions, Ziptopia -- and Inns E-Magazine, for which a feature, about New Hampshire's Snowvillage Inn, won a gold medal from the North American Travel Journalists Association.
