I visited Seven Sisters Inn while traveling through Ocala with friends. I’d heard so much about it, having met the previous
owner many times and always wanted to see it for myself. She was an airline pilot who flew the world and picked up unique and gorgeous items from whereever she traveled. Seven Sisters Inn is recognized as one of the most beautiful bed & breakfasts in Florida. This distinguished 1890 Victorian mansion has been lovingly restored to its original greatness and beyond. Seven Sisters Inn unites Victorian-Era period elegance with amazing architectural artifacts from the Far East, plus historical European and North African cities. The five high-end suites honor exotic regions of the earth, including Madrid, Casablanca, Beijing, Paris and Cairo. Each room is a masterpiece in itself, with a medley of period Victorian pieces and imported artifacts that represent each city. As an example, you will find 400-year old doors from a Bali Temple leading to a room that sends you into the belly of an Egyptian pyramid.
Each suite has its magical entryway that prepares you for an incredible fantasy. The parlor showcases a rare 1880 oak grand piano and the architecture of the building is awesome – and fit everything I had learned about the Inn.
