Top Track Seal CFS-TTS MD is a firestop smoke
and sound seal for head-of-wall joints between
top track and gypsum to corrugated metal deck
slabs and metal roof decks.

Recovering used tools
and giving them new
purpose
Many Hilti tools still have years of life left
in them when a customer returns or trades
them in. We rescue 1,200 of these tools
annually. After refurbishing them, they are
donated to nonprofit organizations to assist
in things like rebuilding efforts.
Recycling

In the U.S. and Canada, we recover and
recycle nearly 1 million pounds of tools a
year. We recycle our tools as well as any
competitive trade-ins we receive.

Over 55,000 lbs. of batteries are recycled
annually to help ensure these products
don’t end up in landfills leaching chemicals
and heavy metals into soil, groundwater,
lakes and streams.

This begins with ensuring waste is cut
before it starts by actively managing the
product development process to avoid
unnecessary production waste. Through an
aggressive control program, Hilti Group has
a scrap rate of 0.06 percent.
Green Building
programs
Hilti offers over 100 products including
firestop, adhesive anchors, mechanical
anchors, direct fastening, screw fastening,
and installation systems that qualify for
credit on LEED V3, LEED V4, and Living
Building Challenge Projects.

Designed as a flexible solution for various track
sizes in all applications in metal deck construction,
Top Track Seal MD eliminates the need to stuff and
spray head-of-wall joints. Simply saddle your track
with Top Track Seal MD, attach it, and fill the flutes
with our preformed plugs or covers. No messy
caulk, spray or mineral wool, and zero waste.
