Introduction
I am delighted to introduce our seventh edition of Innovate, the journal of our Institute of Teaching and Learning( ITL) at Sevenoaks School. Innovate is dedicated to sharing thoughtful, innovative, and impactful insights into teaching and learning across our community of educators.
This edition coincides with our biennial Teaching and Learning Conference. This year, we gather to explore a theme that grows out of our previous work around flourishing and wellbeing: meaning and purpose in education. Our responsibility as educators to help students find clarity, direction, and fulfilment in their learning has never been more vital as technological, cultural and social change transforms our world.
I am grateful to the many teachers who have contributed to this edition. Your reflections, research, and classroom experiences form the heart of this journal.
I invite you to engage with its contents, challenge assumptions, and continue the conversation beyond these pages. Thank you for inspiring the next generation to learn with purpose.
