Introduction
I am delighted to introduce our sixth edition of Innovate , the journal of the Institute of Teaching and Learning ( ITL ) at Sevenoaks School . The articles are reflective of our active engagement with research practice and are designed to encourage the development of a teaching and learning culture that is evidence-based .
This edition covers a range of topics from Artificial Intelligence to outdoor learning experiences . We consider how to find meaning and purpose in the taught curriculum and how AI will affect student learning .
As a Harvad Human Flourishing Program research school , our work continues around wellbeing . This year , I introduced a keynote speech at the annual HMC conference for headteachers about our pioneering work with Harvard . Inside you can read about what underpins positive student relationships and flourishing .
