SUSTAINABILITY BRIDGING THE ECONOMIC GAP A large gathering at our Special Orientation Programme NEARLY 100 FAMILIES DECIDED TO OPEN A SUKANYA SAMRIDDHI ACCOUNTS FOR THEIR DAUGHTERS A Special Orientation programme was organized by Sri Kurumba Charitable Trust in association with the Directorate of Field Publicity office, Palakkad to disseminate the mass welfare programmes of the central government of India. The campaign was held on 18th and 19th Feb, 2016 at Sri Kurumba Auditorium, Thrissur which was attended by nearly 1000 parents of Sobha Academy and Sobha Icon students along with other local population. The focus was on ensuring that the people receive the benefits of welfare programmes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, MUDRA Bank Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. M. Smithy, Field Publicity Officer, Palakkad was pleased at the success of the campaign and declared it as one of the most effective campaign conducted by the Field Publicity Office.
