Onam is celebrated with a lot of zeal and
enthusiasm each year as it brings out
the rich cultural heritage of Kerala with
the right blend of gaiety. It is the festival
that falls during the Malayalam month
of Chingam (Aug - Sep) and marks the
commemoration of home-coming of the
King Mahabali and to pray to lord Vishnu
(Vamana Avatar).

The celebration concluded with the
traditional Onasadya - variety of dishes
traditionally served on a banana leaf,
organised at the terrace of our corporate
office.
Resonating the excitement of the country, Sobhaites celebrated the festival of
colours, leaves and flowers at the Sobha
Corporate Office, held on 24th September, 2016.
In the morning, 11 teams participated
in Pookalam competition who adorned
the floor with different variety of flowers,
well-crafted with theme based designs,
reflecting Indian cultural value and art
forms. The competition was judged
