First Lady Zineb Jammeh, the wife of the
President of the Republic of The Gambia was
born in Rabat, Morocco on the 5th October
1977 to Ambassador Soumah, a well respected
career diplomat from the distinguished
Guinean Soumah family and Mrs. Soumah
who hails from Morocco.
First Lady Zineb was married to the Gambian
President, His Excellency Sheikh Professor
Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh in December
1998 and the marriage is currently blessed with
a beautiful daughter, Mariam and Muhammed
Jammeh.
First Lady Zineb who holds a Diploma in
International Systems and Management is
currently involved in an extremely busy career
as the Gambia's beloved First Lady.
First Lady Zineb's Special Duties include the
running of the Foundation For Women SocioEconomic Advancement (FOWSEA) - A
