Sam Manekshaw : Sam is extraverted (E) as he is
outgoing and social. He hosted a number of parties
and in any social gathering he was among the first
people to let his hair down. His charming personality
and his sense of humour instantly made people like
him. Sam had a very practical approach and gave
importance to details. He liked discipline, order and
routine. He had a sensing type of personality (S).
Thinking type (T) of personality trait could be
attributed to Sam, as he always followed logic and
reason to judge situations and make decisions, but he
would give equal importance to emotions also. Sam
was a judging type (J) of person. He liked order and
structure when it came to his army and wanted full
control without the interference of government in his
missions. He had a high conscientiousness score and
was always organized in his ways. He was very
particular about his grooming and always had his
work organized. He had a no nuisance policy and
dealt strictly with people breaking rules. But he would
be negligent of protocols when it came to bonding
with his troop and providing them comfort. He had a
high quotient of Agreeableness as he would often
consult his officers and take their views into account,
even when it meant his decision being proved
