Also, attached will be a risk of discrimination based on sexual orientation, race, hometown, etc. Hence, regulations will have to be put in place so that the recruiters are under an obligation to access applicant's personal data with their consent and not share such data with any third party. Thus, as a cautionary practice the applicants will have to be careful to the type of information being revealed by them on such platforms. Anything on the World Wide Web is easily accessible and hence, all the potential job seekers will have to be very careful of their image being projected on these social media networks. 25
