I am pleased at the launch of the 8 edition of our B-School Magazine, iNM Volume 8. NMIMS
has always encouraged holistic development of individuals with a view of nurture talent with
mutual respect by igniting multifaceted socially relevant individuals.
iNM, our student driven magazine is a compendium of perspectives regarding various
management verticals and recent emerging trends. The perspectives are invited in form of
contributions from students, teachers, alumni, eminent corporate personalities across nation.
The theme of this edition is “Pursuit of Excellence”. The theme reminds me of a quote by John.
W. Gardener, “Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.” Every article in this
edition is a step towards that extra-ordinary attempt and I thank the contributors for
enhancing the quality of our edition through their efforts.
Through this edition we want to contribute to the discussion on management and related
topics on a holistic and interdisciplinary level and have the ambition to enable new
perspectives on the topics we deal with through experimentation and a critical outlook.
Excellence is indeed a journey and not a destination which we at NMIMS persevere with
every initiative we take. Team Inm has started this journey and will continue to travel the path
of Excellence through this edition and many more to come.
