Shawn isn’t alone in his on Spokes of Hope. His seven year old son is with him all the way, he’s there when the kids get their new bikes and a highly active participant in the charity. Spokes of Hope all started with the old school barter system in tattooing. Trading for tattoo time has grown to land kids who might never have had the freedom and joy a bike brings with the wheels to soar. Shawn had many backs turned on him when years ago he was trying to get in a shop because of his learning and working in the old school tattoo culture, but he managed not only to get a position in a great shop, but he gathered the tools and traditions of that culture that allowed him to create an organization that brings hope and happiness to so many kids and their parents..
