InkSpired Magazine: How and when did your modeling career
begin?
Zhara Nilsson: It all started about 4 years ago when I was 18. I
started getting asked to do appearances/photo shoots for local
events in Sweden. When I started getting tattooed at 19, the
interests/requests to book and work with me grew massively. So
when some people told me that I wouldn’t be getting any modeling
jobs after I got tattooed, couldn’t have been more wrong.
InkSpired Magazine: Do you have any advice for aspiring models?
Zhara Nilsson: Make sure to be confident and strong within yourself
because there will be people around you that will be trying to bring
you down and to make you question yourself. Be able to handle the
“haters” and stay true to yourself.
InkSpired Magazine: What else do you do?
Zhara Nilsson: My partner and I own an online marketing business
in which we help connect businesses with influencers through social
media. I also have a travel and lifestyle blog and combining the two
works great and lets us be able to fulfil our passion of getting to
travel around the world whilst making a living for ourselves.
