“My first appearance in a magazine was in Ink Fashion. I had to go to
Los Angeles for this shoot; it was a fantastic trip! I have also been in
magazines like Tattoo Flash (special edition Pretty In Ink), The Petite
alternative magazine, Tattoo’d Lifestyle, and Missy Ink,” Marie says.
She has also been in calendars, and appeared on several posters.

Tell us about your childhood and teenage years. Did you always want
to be a model?
I’m the youngest in my family of three kids. I have a sister and a
brother. I had a happy childhood. When I was young, I was very shy
and quiet. When I was a teenager, I was a quiet and shy goth. I felt
very different from other teenagers.
How did you get into modeling? Did you always think growing up that
you were more photogenic than your family and friends, or were you
scouted?
For three years, I contacted several publishers by email and
Facebook. Finally one of them wrote me back on Facebook, and it all
began at that moment. When I was a kid, I didn’t like to be in front of
the camera. I was too shy for that. In my teenage years, my friends
and I took a lot of pictures of ourselves for fun, creating concepts
and costumes for shoots. I was very creative.
