TA's Annual Art Exhibit

With 100 juried works chosen, the TA annual art show highlights the talented community of visual artists among Thornton's students. With an opening reception in May, the exhibition transitined into one that highlighted the works of seniors and AP Art students.

Included in the show was Holly Durgan's pencil sketch of a sleeping cat, which was also featured in the Maine Art Education Association and Portland Museum of Art Youth Art Month Exhbition earlier in the year, selected as the "best 2D art" in the state (see Holly's winning piece on pages 31-32) .
