(continued from page 12) Ingomar Spirit is a bimonthly publication for the members, friends and supporters of Ingomar United Methodist Church and its ministries. … that we are never alone. God offers hope and encouragement in the midst of what otherwise may appear to be hopeless and discouraging circumstances. That my friends, is a better life! I went through quite a struggle from July through November of last year. I was better able to endure the struggle because God was with me and I knew God still loved me. My doctors were great. My wife never left my side (she believes in Jesus also!) and encouraged me. My church friends prayed for me consistently. I developed hope and confidence that I’d recover. We were not created to be in isolation of one another. Nor were we created to do life apart from God. When God is in our life, life is better. The more our relationship with God grows, the better life becomes. A God-centered life increases meaning, hope and purpose in our lives. You were created to have God in the center of your life. We are born with God-sized holes in our hearts (figuratively) that only God can fill. Life is better when God is at the center of that life. It just is!
