Extravagant Generosity Raise Your Hands for Missions To celebrate the passion for the missions ministry of Ingomar Church and to encourage even greater participation, you are invited to join us for Missions Sunday, a combined worship service, May 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Through scripture, song and messages, we will discover what it means to be the hands of Christ through service. We will experience service through the eyes of those who have been the hands of Christ and those who have felt his hands. Join us in Fellowship Hall before or after the service for brunch (please sign up so we can plan) and talk to representatives from a variety of local, national and international outreach programs to find out how you can get involved — how you can be the hands of Christ. Over the Top Generosity ... or should we say “ogre the top?” By Cheryl Heisey “We are so grateful for all the things you do for us and we love you,” said Bethany House counselor Miss M., about the generosity of Ingomar Church. On Sunday March 9th, Ingomar Church treated 40 children and staff from Bethany House to a pizza party, basketball, and an amazing performance of “SHREK” at North Allegheny High School. The show featured several of the Ingomar Church youth as actors, orchestra members, and stage crew. The entire day was made possible through the generosity of one of our church members. The Bethany House family extends a very special thanks to that “ogre the top” benefactor! 2 (continued from page 1) HEARTH provides transitional housing to homeless women with children while they work to become economically selfsufficient Honduras Hope Mission provides medical and dental services, family support, Bibles and water filters in La Villa San Francisco.
