MATADEROS STREET
MARKET
It started in 1986. People from many countries
visit it on Sundays and national
holidays from March to December. In January and
February the market is opened on Saturdays. It
has more than 300 stalls where you can buy
typical food like “empanadas” and “locro” and
typical crafts made of leather or silver. It is one of
the most famous street markets in the city of
Buenos Aires.
