The Faculty of Economics and
Administration, University Malaya, has its
origin as the Department of Economics
under the Faculty of Arts in 1959. It was
later upgraded to the Faculty of Economics
and Administration in 1966 and relocated
to a new building at the present site.
The structure of the Faculty is unique.
It has a lotus flower-shaped roof and the
Administration building has a beautiful
dome.
Photo taken after the fire on August 27, 2019 when
the lecturers’ offices on the third floor and part of
the second floor were destroyed.
