The outcomes of these pilot projects have greatly exceeded their primary goals and show real-world applications of AI and IoT in the MOH ’ s maintenance roadmap , which is also one of the critical success factors for the development of “ Smart Hospitals ” in the years to come .
The widespread use of AI , IoT , and cloud computing provides a novel and innovative solution to the difficulties in monitoring the parameters of machines by centralising this large data repository , enabling various types of trend analysis and providing reliable and consistent control of the system . This is in addition to resolving all challenges associated with manual monitoring and improving the capability to monitor continuously in real-time . The unique features include an alarm system that replaces the current system ’ s absence when the parameters exhibit a tendency to exceed failure limits . This will save cost and time for the machine operators as maintenance can be carried out before the system faces total failure .
CONCLUSION
The development of this sophisticated monitoring system may inspire further local inventors to produce the same technologies or even better ones .

Since many developed and developing countries have adopted AI and IoT technology for 4IR applications , this country will tremendously benefit from the expansion of these ground-breaking emerging technological solutions . By improving the accuracy and reliability of performance monitoring , the betterment of healthcare services to patients at MOH hospitals can be provided at the highest standard feasible .
