Work-Life Balance and WFH
To improve work-life balance , employers should do the following : i . Clearly set his working hours and work schedule ; ii . Promote work-life balance and a healthy lifestyle ; iii . Provide mental well-being support to employees experiencing life-work balance conflict ; and iv . Refer to relevant guidelines for promoting work-life balance and healthy lifestyle , as issued by the Ministry of Health Malaysia .
Conclusion
Driven by the COVID-19 pandemic , WFH is an alternative method of working that is increasingly being practised by employers and employees in Malaysia . However , the OSH aspect needs to be emphasised by employers and employees to prevent accidents and reduce health risks arising from employment activities , including those implemented through WFH . With this , the safety and health of workers continue to be protected , enhancing productivity and prosperity of the country and the people .
