NOTICE OF RENEWAL
OF REGISTRATION 2019
With due respect, kindly be informed that
your registration for year 2018 will expire
on 31/12/2018. Application for renewal of
registration must reach BEM before or/on
31/1/2019.
We seek your co-operation to download
the renewal form(s) from the BEM website at
www.bem.org.my. Starting 2018, the Board of
Engineers Malaysia (BEM) will no longer mail
the renewal registration form. Online renewal is
highly encouraged. Visit https://engineer.org.
my/mybem/public/. Online renewal for 2019 will
not be available after 31 st January 2019.
For IOW & ECP only:

The original hardcopy renewal application
form for IOW & ECP should be submitted to
BEM’s office upon completion of the online
renewal.
4. All Professional Engineer and Professional
Engineers with Practicing Certificate are
advised to renew their registration via MyBEM
Online Registration. Please register as a
MyBEM User to get User ID and password.
5. MyBEM Online Registration for Inspector of
Works will be notified later.
6. In order to improve the quality of BEM services
and in line with the Bank Negara Financial
Sector Blueprint 2011-2020, payment by
cheque shall be terminated for REGISTRATION
RENEWAL OF YEAR 2020 and year after.
Take note that it is the responsibility of all PE,
PEPC, IOW and ECP to renew their registration
with BEM to continue to practice in Malaysia.
Failing to do so, action under Section 16(b), of
the Registration of Engineers Act 1967 (Revised
2015) will be taken.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The last update for year 2018 CPD records via
MyBEM online is on 31 JANUARY 2019. BEM
will not accept CPD record for year 2018, if the
update is made on 1 February 2019 onwards.
2. Application to update CPD record by email will
not be entertained.
3. Come 2020 and thereafter, BEM will only
accept CPD records through MyBEM.

Engineering consultancy practice who has failed
to renew his or its registration within one month
of the expiry of the registration”
