in to their Amazon account to make payment . The shopping experience is somewhat similar to Amazon ’ s previous Amazon Go unmanned convenience store .
After comparing several intelligent shopping carts currently on the market , it is found that existing mainstream shopping carts do not have the ability to follow customers independently . A company from South Korea has proposed an intelligent shopping cart with an automatic following function , but it is still in the developmental stages . We believe that an intelligent shopping cart with the function of automatically following customers will be an ideal invention . Considering that the world is now transitioning from pandemic to endemic , the self-service and automatic following intelligent shopping cart would be a desired invention that reduces contact with customers , leading to a reduction in the spread of Covid-19 .
Perhaps , this new invention can be the shopping buddy we have always asked for but could only dream about . With the advanced technology we have today , we definitely can make one for Malaysian shoppers to dive into the next level of shopping experience .
Conclusion
All in all , building a smart city fosters sustainability , and makes use of information gained from the data collected using smart technologies to improve income and standard of living . However , we must not forget to consider the challenges and concerns for more efficient services when managing assets , infrastructures , and resources , to support a more liveable city .
