Victoria Avenue was so named to commemorate the aftermath of World War II . It was renamed as Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin in June 1962 .
Bluff Road was so named as the bluff ( meaning cliff ) was overlooking the Gombak and Klang rivers . It was later flattened to make way for a railway line . The police headquarters at the end of Bluff Road still remain today . Bluff Road was renamed Jalan Bukit Aman in 1970 .
Present view taken in 2020 .
