Nicole with Michelle Bridges at Dietitians Unite 2017 Why did you join the Dietitian Connection community? And what do you do to wind down your day? Working in pharmaceuticals for close to ten years, I learned the value of being involved with industry peak- body organisations. It keeps my finger on the pulse of the profession, provides networking opportunities, and helps me get involved and have a say. As such, I’ve been a member of DC since its inception. Its continuous reinvention and evolution keeps me engaged and motivated. It’s hard for me to do one thing at a time! When it’s time for bed, you’ll find me lying on the floor, on top of a physio ball, to release my lower back or hips; reading the latest biography (or a clinical paper!); or listening to a meditation track on Spotify. It’s always the same guy who I met at Bluey’s Beach years ago – he has one of those voices that’s so soothing and relaxing. It helps me sleep like a baby. What’s the first thing you do every day when you wake up? My daughter is a squad swimmer, so we’re up at 4.30 a.m. three mornings a week. I drink buckets of water on waking, do an hour’s worth of work and then get going to a yoga class, or out into nature for a run (with or without my sleepy dog). I am a morning person, so it’s my most productive time of day. © Dietitian Connection LEARN MORE: http://www.goodnutritionco.com @the.guthealthdietitian @NicoleDynan Connect with Nicole on LinkedIn 19 Infuse | June 2018
