INFO WRITERS The art of living In this booklet I talked about the lifestyle, which in my opinion is the art of living. Lifestyle is a crossroads between what we can and what we aim for, each of us decides what to eat and we are the ones who choose to do sports or not. In this brochure we talked about food, which is the most important because we are sur- rounded by temptations, such as pizza, kebap, fried potatoes, which endanger our health and destroy our body. Because of the unhealthy diet, the number of overweight and obese peo- ple has increased, and heart disease and dia- betes have grown more. We just want to lose weight and that's why we abstain from some dishes, from white flour, chocolate, fast food or roast products, but not everybody real- izes that the diet depends on the health of our body and the duration life. Nowadays, people eat more and lead a more sedentary life. The facilities of the mod- ern age help us to save energy in the environment, but it does not help us burn the calories from our bodies. The more we avoid food, the more we risk falling prey. That is why we should adopt a diet to help us improve our health, not just lose extra pounds. Each of us can do more, we can manage control over our own behavior and we can refrain from eating some dishes. In order to have a balanced diet, we need to get rid of excess fat and sugar, we need to consume as many fruits, vegetables and whole grains as possible. Secondly, we talked about sports, about physical activities that we can integrate during the day, in the daily program, we can go more on foot, and in our spare time we can even go to the gym. The alert program of modern life does not leave much time for exercise, and people stop moving, no longer riding a bicycle or roller coaster. During leisure, people prefer to eat, relax or sit on the phone / computer, and sport is neglected. Also, many of us be- lieve that being active means just having sports equipment, doing exercise at the gym or practicing demanding sports, but physical ac- tivity must be done from the heart to keep the body healthy. Sport helps us burn calories, maintain heart health, lungs, sport improves body posture, for example when we sit too much in the chair, at work or at school, the backbone is affected. If we do not do sports, we will have problems with the heart and lungs, varicose veins will appear, the bones will be affected, we will fatten ourselves espe- cially in the abdominal area and we will have trouble sleeping. Another element of healthy lifestyle is posi- tive thinking, a rule of thumb is to always be optimistic, because of optimism you will always find solu- tions to your prob- lems. In addition, if you smile, you can drive away nega- tive thoughts and pessimism. Nega- tive thinking should be removed be- cause it affects us. To think positively, we must try to see the good part of anything in our lives, because we learn from mistakes. At the same time, we should take advantage of every good moment in our lives, and the heavy mo- ments must be overcome as life goes forward. Stress is also an element that affects life- style. When we are stressed, we have to relax, go outside, appreciate the fresh air and the beautiful sky. In order to get rid of stress, there are also some natural products, such as laurel, which brings tranquil sleep, citruses, which in- crease the ability to adapt to stress and hops, which provide inner peace. In conclusion, I hope this brochure will help us all understand why we need to adopt a healthy lifestyle and how it affects our body. Student Denisa Elena MIHĂILĂ 24
