to your body.
Lifestyle: the aggregation
of personal decisions (over
which the individual has
control) that can be said to
contribute to, or cause,
illness or death.
Environmental: all matters
related to health external to
the human body and over
which the individual has little
or no control
Exercise
Physical exercise enhanc-
es or maintains physical
fitness and overall health
and wellness. It strength-
ens muscles and improves
the cardiovascular system.
Biomedical: all aspects of
health, physical and mental,
developed within the human
body as influenced by
genetic make-up.
Sleep
Sleep is an essential
component to maintaining health. For children,
sleep is also vital for their growth and develop-
ment.
Mental health refers to a persons psychologi-
cal well-being and how they feel. Physical
health has many different components such as
physical activity, nutrition and diet and sleep/
rest. Physical health can have a major impact
on mental health and vice versa.

A long and happy life
For some time there has been a special
emphasis on the notion of a healthy lifestyle.
Most of the respondents want to adopt this
style, but still lead a disorderly life, consuming
only junk-food products, taking a sedentary life
and losing nights with socializing in front of the
computer.
So, we all want a long and happy life,
where disease and trouble do not touch us.
But what do we do to reach this goal?
In other words, lifestyle is the sum of the
small choices you make every day that have a
short or long-term impact on you.
